This class is for all kitesurfers who have already completed a basic course but don’t feel confident enough to practise on their own. Often it’s been a long time since your last kitesurfing experience and/or the water start hasn’t really worked yet. The course is based on your previous knowledge and we want to help you become an independent, confident and safe kiter.
We expand on your previous knowledge and deepen your understanding of wind conditions and kite control. This will give you more confidence and safety when handling the kite.
The course focuses on refining your technique. You will work on specific manoeuvres and tricks that will take your kitesurfing to the next level. We constantly improve your skills through targeted exercises and individualised feedback.
With increased safety and improved technique, you will become more confident out in the water. The intermediate course gives you the tools and knowledge to kite confidently in different conditions and achieve your personal goals.
Our intermediate courses mainly take place in private lessons, i.e. one-to-one with the instructor. If two intermediate students of the same level and weight are starting at the same time, there are semi-private lessons with two students per instructor.
The intermediate course lasts 4 hours in private lessons and 6 hours in semi-private lessons. We always train in the afternoon from around 13:00, for 2-3 hours per student.
If you want to continue practising on your own after the course, you can hire kite equipment from us. Hire after the course costs €50 per day. Each additional private lesson also costs €50.
Very important: You only pay for what you use. If there is no wind, you only pay for the lessons you actually take.
For all kitesurfers with basic knowledge who want to improve.
Either you have already taken a beginner’s course or you know the basics of kitesurfing, such as lines and bar handling, have a feel for the wind and are able to set up and take down independently.
If your partner has a similar level and you are similar in weight, you can also book semi-private lessons directly.
Snowboarding and wakeboarding are indeed somewhat similar to kitesurfing. However, kitesurfing requires skills other than standing and navigating on the board. That’s why we also recommend that snowboarders and wakeboarders book a beginner’s course first.
